About Your Mask
Each mask is sustainably made: They are handcut from my fabric scraps by the lovely Eiko (my wonderful studio assistant), all from fabric left over from making your fabulous clothing, and even the elastic loops for your ears are made from left over pieces of my soft stretchy organic jersey.
The design is a flat fitted mask style, with soft ear loops. The mask can also be flipped and worn on the reverse as well, to show a different fabric. The ear loops will get a little looser over time, but they are secured by a simple knot that loops through the ends of the mask, so can easily be undone and made looser or tighter, depending on your individual preference. The mask will fit most adults but may be too small for some male faces.
Your handmade facemask will be chosen at random, or you can request a specific fabric using the notes box (if we have it in stock in our scraps we will do our best to match your request, but on occasion we may have to provide you with a different print, so please add a second preference if you like.)
You can purchase masks individually for $20, or a 3 pack for $50. If you want a 3 pack, just TICK THE BOX below, rather than just adding 3 to cart. Ticking the box is what will give you the special bundled price.
This is a re-useable mask made from 100% cotton fabric and organic jersey (cotton/lycra) ear loops – be sure to wash your mask regularly – having a few spares is a good idea so you always have a clean one to take with you. (Please follow government and medical advice about the use of masks)
Please note – these masks aren’t made with any intention to prevent or treat sickness or any health condition (including COVID-19). They aren’t intended for official hospital, clinical or surgical use, are not PPE, and do not filter the air – they are for general public use only. (Please ensure you check out official government directives or get advice from your doctor about anything related to the correct wearing of masks, who should wear a mask, what they are intended to do, and COVID-19)
