The Kablooie ‘Yum Cha’ Sloppy Joe Jumper is your DREAM jumper – it’s like a warm colourful hug that makes you feel like you’re dancing on rainbows with hot chocolate running through your veins.  It’s super soft, comfy and warm – designed to wear on it’s own, or is loose enough to layer, with a flattering fabulous drape that will make you feel amazing.  You won’t be able to stop at just one!!

This Sloppy Joe can be purchased in the French Terry base (slightly lighter weight, less stretch) or the Cotton Lycra (slightly stretchier).

Designer: This fabric is the result of a design collaboration with Brook Gossen. It is exclusive to Kablooie and celebrates the everyday things that we love in a  whole new light and in vibrant Kablooie style, full of detail and colour.

FEAST your eyes on ‘Yum Cha’, inspired by a gorgeous Asian banquet, and the vibrancy of Chinese New Year celebrations – the bold red chillies, green coriander and vibrant colours, flavours and texture of a feast. Be prepared to look and feel amazing in this bold but sophisticated design.

  • This Jumper is a loosely fitting, long sleeved top, with sleeves in the raglan style, a round cuffed neckline, cuffed sleeves and a bottom hem without cuffing.  The style is designed to be worn loosely, with room to either layer up or wear on it’s own.
  • It has long cuffed loose fitted sleeves, and a round neckline that sits just below your collarbone. The normal length is designed to sit at your hips, depending on your height and body shape, with the back hem slightly lower than the front, and a flattering drape. 
  • This jumper has no zips, buttons or fastening – no yoga moves are required to get it on, just pop it over your head – it’s super soft and comfy, and designed to be warm without causing you to overheat. 
  • Available in 6 sizes which span 4-26 (XS – 4/6, S – 8/10, M – 12/14, L – 16/18, XL – 20/22, XL2 – 24/26).
  • The Yum Cha, This Is Australia or Midnight Fantasia Sloppy Joe’s have an option to be made in a soft lightweight French Terry knit fabric, which has a subtle stretch and a flattering drape, and organic ribbing for cuffs and neckline.  These Sloppy Joe’s, as well as all of the others, are available in organic Jersey, a soft stretchy cotton Lycra fabric – The fabric is digitally printed exclusively for Kablooie Store.

How to Customise:

Customise your Kablooie  – Once you know your size, you can choose it and add to cart.  You can also choose to customise your jumper to suit you, with some set options. Due to the design of this jumper and the raglan sleeves, the neckline cannot be adjusted on this particular garment.

Here are the FREE options, which you can request using the notes box:

  • Add or take away up to 5cm from the overall length – to suit your height.
  • Add or takeaway up to 5cm length form the sleeves to suit your arm length.
  • I should be able to scoop the neckline slightly – with the raglan design of the neck it won’t scoop as much as the regular jersey pieces
  • Please note I will contact you if your request needs more information or can’t be completed.

Question: What kind of fit is this jumper?

Answer: The sloppy Joes jumper is a relaxed fit jumper, intended to be more oversized and loose, with cuffs at the sleeves to ensure a comfy fit on the arms.  The back of the jumper dips slightly lower at the hem than the front.  If you’d like it to be more slimline in fit, I suggest sizing down from your normal size.  For example, the M (12-14) fits me with a relaxed fit and lots of room – I could wear a tee or long sleeves shirt under it with no problems.  If I wanted it to be slim fit, I would go to my size S (8-10))

Question: How heavy weight is this jumper?

Answer: I SPECIALLY created this jumper to be perfect weight for a typical Queensland winter, so it’s not super thick and woolly.  It’s made from a medium light weight french terry, which is 100% cotton woven into a soft fabric with a stretch in it.  I can wear it all day without getting overheated on a typical Brisbane winter day, but it’s loose enough to layer up with a long sleeved tee underneath if you live further south or overseas.

Question: What do I do if the jumper is out of stock?

Answer: As each piece is handmade to order, stock numbers online are based on fabric available.  To get a notification as soon as more fresh and fabulous fabric is delivered, go to the top of this product page, choose your size and you’ll be given the option to request a back in stock email. You’ll receive an instant alert email as soon as stock is added online before anyone else knows!

Question: How long will the jumper take to arrive?

Answer: As each piece is hand-cut and made to order, your new jumper will take an average of 3 weeks to complete, and then it will be posted out to you. This timeframe may vary, depending on the number of orders we are working on, particularly after a new product launch.

Question: How do I look after this jumper?

Answer: The jumper is french terry, 100% cotton, and can be washed in a cold gentle machine wash, and dried in the shade. Colours do not run and are fade resistant. Care instructions are included on the product tag for your convenience (on the lower side hem).

Tip: For longest life, I recommend you flick wrinkles out of your wet jumper  straight after washing, hang to dry in the shade, and use a warm iron to freshen the fabric (yeah, we both know you’re not gonna use the iron but hey. It was worth a try!).
